Your kitchen is a one-off, one that we can create only for you. To achieve this, our design specialists take a lot of care, and after a detailed consultation with you, turn your individual ideas into reality. We know how stressful and demanding the upheaval of fitting a new kitchen can sometimes be so here at Naturewood Kitchen Studio in Chesham, we endeavor to make the complete process as painless as possible.
1. INITIAL CONTACT
From our initial meeting or conversation we will normally arrange an appointment to visit your property to measure your kitchen area to enable us to start the design process for your new kitchen.
2. THE MEASURE VISIT
The designer will arrive at your property to measure the existing area and discuss any ideas you may have. This can take anything from about one hour for a small kitchen to several hours if necessary. The designer will then arrange a time and date for the next meeting, normally at our showroom, to view the new design.
3. THE DESIGN
The designer will then return to the showroom and input the dimensions onto the computer and create a life like design that will give a 3D view of your new kitchen. This can be very useful especially where extensions or wall removal are to be completed, as the client can see exactly the spaces that will be created.
4. THE PRESENTATION
This will normally take place at our showroom where you the client can view the new design and spend time looking at the various products that are available to complete your kitchen in every detail. There is no time limit set for presentations; you are free to spend as much time as you wish discussing and amending the details so that between us we produce the kitchen you dreamed of.
Usually any changes will be made during this visit and by the end of the presentation the kitchen will be ready for costing. Once again the designer will be responsible for completing the costing breakdown and he will arrange for a suitable time to meet and present the cost of your new kitchen.
5. THE SCHEDULE
Once the client is satisfied with the design and agreed the price we will normally take a 10% deposit. Our technical surveyor will then do a full survey of the property to ensure that there are no nasty surprises in store for the fitting crew when they arrive to fit the new kitchen. Any issues that arise from this survey will be discussed with the client prior to the scheduling of the installation or delivery date.
The installation date will now be agreed with the client and the job scheduled into our system.
On the agreed start date the kitchen will be delivered to the property and the fitting crew will be on site from that point until the job is completed. A further payment of 50% of the balance will be due when the kitchen is delivered and the final balance payable on completion of the kitchen installation. Where Naturewood Kitchen Studio is not fitting the kitchen the full amount will be due when the kitchen is delivered to the client.
